Dr. Dixon is a licensed clinical psychologist (MS # 57 1002). She specializes in behavioral interventions for children, adolescents, and adults with a wide-range of psychological problems, and in particular, exposure-based cognitive-behavioral therapy for anxiety disorders, prolonged exposure for PTSD, and dialectical behavior therapy. Currently, she supervises clinical graduate students providing psychological treatments through the University of Mississippi’s Psychological Services Center.
For individuals living in Oxford or the greater Northern Mississippi area: If you are interested in treatment for an anxiety disorder, please contact the Psychological Services Center (662.915.7385). Dr. Dixon does not currently have openings for new clients, but individuals could inquire about the possibility of working with a clinician on her supervision team.
